Thugs stage unprovoked attack on number 50 bus from Kings Heath High Street when teenager and pal shun advances
Three young thugs spat at a teenage girl and punched her in the face in an unprovoked attack when she shunned their advances after they followed her off a bus in a busy part of Birmingham.
The men got off the bus at the same stop as the girls on Moseley Road.
The girls ignored attempts to engage in conversation and were assaulted by the men. They also stole her headphones before making off towards Kings heath.
West Midlands Police detectives have released images of the men they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
DC Michelle Beasley said: “This was an unprovoked attack on a young girl and her friend which left them feeling threatened and vulnerable.
“I would like anyone who recognises the men to contact me on 101.”
Anyone with information who does not wish to speak to a police officer can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
