A 32-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of arranging funding for terrorism as part of an investigation linked to Syria, the Met Police said.
The man was arrested by counter-terrorism officers at a house in west London and is being questioned at a south London police station.
He was also held on suspicion of fraud.
Police said 12 addresses were being searched as part of the investigation – one in Hertfordshire and 11 in the west London area.
They said the enquiries related to an investigation into suspected terrorist activity in Syria.
